I started to write my life story because my daughter, Rachel, the writer, wanted her mother to document her early life as source material for her own writing.
It seemed like a good idea at the time so I started to do mine. The writing started in January 2002 and has continued sporadically ever since. As I got into the writing, the work took on a life of its own. It now looks a bit like an autobiography with elements of self revelation.
It is said to be "very dry" so I might have to "sex it up a bit" to quote a topical phrase from the international "affairs" of 2003.
