At long last, we were on our way to Sherwood Forest where we arrived at about 2pm.
Robin had waited in for us rather than go into the city to do some chores.
They have bought a house in Beaudesert for their daughter to live in and as an office for the business, Solar Systems Australia. and today is moving day.
Robin and I chatted for a couple of hours about CMCA and about computers, ISPs and web sites before he went off to attend the move.
I had to get the CB radio back in operation before we went on the road to Alice Springs so I spent the best part of the day reinstalling the antenna and the 12V wiring. While switching on to test the new installation I had a recurrence of an intermittent fault in the rear view camera system which had first occurred coming down through the Clouds Creek State Forest. The fault turned out to be in the 12V connector to the monitor. I'll have to replace it on Monday.
Keryn had a visit from a TAFE colleague who is brining up a young family on her own because her husband ratted on her just after the fifth child was born. They enjoy coming to Sherwood Forest when there is a camp fire and they appreciate Robin as a bit of a father figure. We all had barbecue dinner, they left and we sat round the fire discussing the CMCA until late.
