After a leisurely breakfast and an extended morning tea, we bid farewell and happy xmas to the assembled Highway Wanderers and headed for Brisbane.
I had received the new software for my data connection kit so I spent some time installing and testing it. It all but works. It seems to talk successfully to the phone but no connection happens. Without any diagnostic messages it's hard to fathom where the failure is. I'll work on it.
Bigman arrived from Sydney in the early evening and we sat out under the cabana with half the Noble family for supper.
I had promised to roast the turkey so the evening was spent chatting while the xmas dinner cooked.
We eventually got to the caravan park in Aspley at half past midnight.
And so to bed.
The Xmas cake still had to be iced so we went to Patricks Road.
Sarah had arranged for us all to go to Cafe Zannetti in the afternoon to listen to Night & Day. Bigman who had been visiting friends in Mt Glorius returned via Kilcoy, Woodford, Mt Mee and Petrie.
Xmas lunch at Patricks Road. It was so hot that we went back to Aspley at about 4 pm.
