We drove the Motley and the Little Motley in convoy to Carters Ridge to spend a few days with the Procters before Jeans goes overseas.
The new hand-held CB worked well as a convoy communication system Jean appreciated the chance to do a long highway drive in the new car and I'm sure she will have no trouble with her hire car while she is in England.
Because the price of hotel rooms is so outrageous in London, we have tried to get in contact with both the Guttmanns and the Richards without any success. They must all be away on "holiday".
We've revised the plan and Jean will go to Stanstead straight from Heathrow, pick up the car, and, if need be, find a room in Bishop Stortford to rest up before driving the 100 km (60 miles) to Thetford.
Phillip and Helene went to Tin Can Bay in their motorhome for a visit and we went in to Cooroy in the Little Motley to do some shopping.
In the afternoon, we finished some things, sewing, printing address lists and business cards and cooking curry for tomorrow. We then went for a strenuous walk and then veged out.
Phillip and Helene returned from their jaunt at lunchtime. Phillip had a CD from Swagman with pictures for the cover of Phillip's book which was Macintosh not PC compatible. I loaded them up on the iBook, Phillip selected what he wanted (including one of my digital photos) and I emailed them to him.
In the evening we had a curry and rice dinner with the Procters.
We slept late and I was eating breakfast while Jean and Phillip were having elevenses.
In the afternoon, I made the halyard for the Chapter flag.
We all had another meal of curry and rice before retiring early.
