We left Imbil at about 10am leaving only those who were staying for a few more days.
We needed to dump the black water so we drove to Gympie and called in to the Six Mile Rest Area. We decided to stop at the Matilda on the way back to Carters Ridge where we fuelled up, had coffee, did all the white laundry, and stocked up on bread, milk, and fruit.
I was pretty tired after the weekend and we filled up the fresh water tank and then veged out for the rest of the day.
I was still pretty tired so I lounged around most of the day. The weather is still pretty hot and resting seemed a great idea.
I cooked a curry for tomorrow and did a bit of futzing on the iBook.
Jean and Helene had a girls day out at Maroochydore. They left after an early breakfast and got home at just in time for dinner. We all had curry and rice and chatted a lot.
Helene needed to go to Cooroy to send out the recent book orders and we needed to do a bit of shopping so we went into town.
In the evening, we finished off the curry from last night, and very good it was.
Its very hot and not good weather to do too much.
I did a few chores before lunch and, with the temperature in the low thirties, I was so exhausted that the rest of the day was spent lolling about.
Philip and Helene had booked to go to the Logan and Moreton Ramblers Xmas meting at Kenilworth but we were a bit chapter meetinged out so we stayed at Koorunga and looked after the cows for the weekend.
It still hot and steamy so much of the day was spent sitting about in the airconditioned comfort of the Motley.
I did some work checking Philip's book against my database of camping areas and generating a list of additions and corrections for the next edition.
