We set off early and reached Biloela for morning tea. Everyone wanted to shop and by the time we had all done that and watered up, some thought they would have lunch before leaving. We prefer to lunch later than them so we set off up the road to make Dululu for lunch. While we were there some friends we had met early in our motorhoming career turned up.
Just as we were preparing to leave, the others reached Dululu so we settled in to the convoy again.
We stopped at a very nice big rest area at Duaringa for afternoon tea and the consensus was in favour of going no further as we would be driving straight into the sun so we settled in for the night.
The town provides fireplaces and wood as well as water in the rest area so we had a barbecue tea and sat round the fire talking and drinking till late.
