The new camping limit at Wyllie Park is 48 hours in any one period of 30 days. As we had spent two days there before going to Nanango and one day yesterday, we have breached the rules and so decided to move.
We relocated to Lawnton Showground, booking in for a week and, later, extending for four more days, so that we could catch up with all those at Patricks Road.
I got a quote for a new compressor for the airconditioner and found that it would only cost a bit more to fit a complete new unit. I also found that the original model had had some problems and was no longer sold. Having had two compressors fail in five years, I decided to go for a new unit of the more reliable design. This will increase the overall height of the Motley by 100 mm but I can live with that and if the new unit last ten or fifteen years rather than two or three, the extra cost will be well worth it. I ordered one from Solarsystems Australia (Robin Wood) who offers a discount to members of his Solar Community.
