We had to go back to Patricks Rd to rectify the fault on the LCII. I found that the problem lay with the 100Mb disk drive we had installed. It wouldn't respond on the SCSI bus unless the original 500Mb drive was also connected to the bus. When I had finally tested the system I had failed to disconnect the external drive. When the 40Mb drive from the old Classic was installed in the LCII all was well.
We hadn't stayed in Wyllie Park since early May so we took the opportunity to camp there for two nights.
