We needed to spend a day in Brisbane before we head off to Sherwood Forest for the Highway Wanderers Xmas gathering so we packed up early and drove the hundred klicks south.
We went to Brookside to do a bit of shopping and to have some lunch, then we went to Patricks Road to retrieve some updates I had downloaded on to the eMac.
I had the same trouble as I had last time I tried this. The network appeared to be working but wouldn't do anything useful. I had to connect directly to the ADSL modem and download all the updates again. By the time I had managed to do all this, it was six o'clock and we had to go back to Lawnton.
