We left the rally site early heading for Cooroy.
We stopped at Tiaro to pay the rates on Twin Creeks but were told that the rate notices hadn't been done yet. We stopped at Gunalda to put Twin Creeks on the market. The Estate Agent was pretty upbeat saying that they were very busy and needed more listings.
We stopped at Curra for a cup of coffee and bumped into a lady who had been parked next to us at the rally and who had said that she expected to meet us somewhere on the road. She didn't realise that it would be only a few hours later.
We reached the Procter's by lunch time, veged out in the Motley in the heat of the day and had happy hour and dinner with them.
I had a bad night's sleep because I was very peeved at some people who had taken cheap shots at the Scheme.
I was up very early and finished all the work I have to do for HQ before breakfast. Now I can relax.
I needed to use in the laundromat because storms had been forecast for the afternoon.
After lunch I lay down for a rest and didn't wake up until I got a phone call at about five o'clock.
We watched the storm pass to the north of us as we were having happy hour. We had a little rain overnight but nothing serious.
The magpies woke Jean up with some very vocal communication in the trees beside the Motley. The weather had cleared so we can look forward to another beautiful day.
I cooked some curry and dhal for tomorrow.
Jean and Helene went to Noosa to do some shopping. I stayed at home to do some stuff on the computer and cook some more stuff for tonight.
My knee seems to have recovered from the damage I did to it during the rally which is a great relief.
As we have to leave to go to Brisbane tomorrow, we had a thank you dinner for the Procters of beef curry, tandoori chicken, dry potato and broccoli curry, dhal and rice with papadums followed by a big bowl of trifle.
