We set off after morning tea. We had to go into St Arnaud to take on generator fuel, fresh water and to dump the black water. We got away at eleven o'clock but we stopped for a drink a couple of km out of St Arnaud.
We reached Lake Buninjon between Ararat and Hamilton in time for lunch. We met a couple from Great Western (not far from here) in a bus who were also heading for Mt Gambier and had a chat. They are Camps Australia Wide fans but mentioned that V557 and S60 are one and the same place.
I wasn't feeling 100%. Something I ate yesterday seemed to have upset my tum so I decided to stop at about three o'clock at a rest area just outside Dunkeld. It was pretty hot and there was a strong NW wind blowing but we were OK in the comfort of the Motley.
We only have 170 km to go to Mt Gambier so we will have a nice easy day tomorrow. Since I can't do any work on the Self-containment Scheme until Tuesday, we plan to arrive at the rally in the afternoon to avoid the first morning rush.
