We had shared the rest area with several large trucks overnight but we were not disturbed at all.
We got to Horsham in time for lunch. Needing to do the laundry and charge the batteries, we booked into the caravan park.
I had developed an ulcer under a tooth so I tried to get to see a doctor but they were "booked up for several weeks". I wonder what the people who are really ill do; perhaps they all go to the public hospital while the GPs deal only with the chronically cases.
We stayed on for another day to rest up and so that Jean could go shopping. My tooth had got better by itself so I had no need to go to the hospital which was quite a relief.
When we got back to the caravan park, we found some long time motorhoming friends booking in. The weather didn't make happy hour a viable proposition but we did catch up with them.
