In the morning the others were up and off at sparrow fart but we had a leisurely shower and breakfast and headed off at a decent hour (like ten o'clock).
The next planned stop was only 50 kilometres (30 miles) down the road so we soon caught up with the others at morning tea time.
This rest area is situated high above the Reid River just off the main road. There is plenty of room and some nice shade trees.
In the evening we had a camp fire to cook on (for those addicted to barbecues) and to sit around chatting in the dieing of the day.
