We had to go to Chermside to get more test strips from Diabetes Australia. We then drove down to Jimboomba to do the shopping and to have some lunch before going on to Sherwood Forest in time for happy hour.
I had noticed that one of the trailer tyres was a bit flat so I changed the wheel for the spare and pumped the tyre up using the Motley's compressor. On examination, I found a nail in the tyre so it will have to be mended.
I tried without success to get email from the optusnet account. I suspect Optus have a problem. I don't want to have to use the iBook to retrieve Highway Wanderers Secretary's's messages.
We had to go to the bank in Beaudesert to record Jean's signature against the Chapter bank account which has been moved there from Taree.
I bought a tyre repair kit (at enormous expense as it comes all the way from the USofA). At least I should have the ability to repair nail holes in tyres wherever I need to in the future.
The repair of the tyre was problematic as the cause of the leak turned out to be a bolt with a nut still on. Despite using two pieces of stuffing to repair the hole it was still leaking.
