We travelled to Ilfracombe and then Isisford to spend a few days quietly beside the Barcoo River. We set up in the town's free camping area with a couple of other motorhomes from the Highway Wanderers.
I tried to ring Patricks Rd using the local public telephone as there is no CDMA service here but the fixed line was engaged and I had not taken the mobile number with me. I'll try again tomorrow.
We happy houred until dark with a Solo who had met us at the rally and was camped nearby.
We managed to get through to Patricks Rd on the public telephone and confirmed that the parcel which included the money for Kelly's birthday present had arrived in good order. The local shop had fresh bread in today (the next delivery is Friday). Otherwise, we had a lazy day.
Not much activity today. In the evening we walked into town to ring Patricks Rd to wish Kelly happy birthday.
Another lazy day with just a little work on the database.
