We left after everyone else who had stayed overnight at the 41 Mile. We drove to Threeways and returned the telephone messages which had disturbed my sleep last night.
Sarah wanted to know what to do with some of the mail and I asked her to make sure it was posted on Monday so that we can pick it up sometime next week at Katherine.
David Maitland reported that they, the Woods and Figment are at Katherine and will be going to Darwin early next so maybe we will catch up with them there.
Jean was not feeling too well so I decided that we would park up in the caravan park in Tennant Creek where she could rest and I could do the shopping and the laundry.
I decided to stay another day to give Jean a chance to recover and to give me time to do a couple of necessary chores - fit a new, stronger bracket for the new CDMA antenna, and check the wheel bearings on the trailer. I also drained and flushed the fresh water tank in case it was the water we had taken on board at the Soudan Rest Area or at the Barkly Roadhouse was the cause of Jean's bout of gastro.
