Jean had an appointment with the ENT Specialist. He carefully took her history and carefully examined her ears, nose and throat. Because some of the hearing loss in her right ear is neurological, as revealed by the bone conduction hearing test, the normal course would be an MRI scan to look for tumours. How ever her history reveals that the problem is long standing and a tumour could not be the cause so a hearing aid is the right thing to do.
Jean and Sarah went shopping for clothes while I went shopping for batteries. The local Battery World guy was most helpful and will get batteries in for installation tomorrow.
I moved the Motley back to Lawnton where we have the benefit of shore power.
I went out early to do the laundry.
The batteries were ready at about midday. I drove the Motley less trailer to Strathpine where they were fitted and was back at Lawnton in time for lunch.
I decided to stay at Lawnton overnight to ensure that the new batteries were fully charged before we head off into the wild so we had a quiet afternoon reading and such.
