We slept in a bit then packed up to leave the caravan park. We drove the Narang-Beaudesert Road which seemed twistier, hillier and rougher than ever. We arrived at Sherwood Forest to find it deserted. Robbie and Pam, who had been staying here have left and Robin and Keryn aren't back from their trip to Mareeba.
We had a very peaceful afternoon and evening.
Its the first time we've been cold in the morning since I don't know when. Happily the weather was bright and sunny so we warmed up quickly.
We went to Jimboomba for lunch and to do the shopping. On the way back, we took a detour down the Undullah Rd to see where it went. The answer was, nowhere but it was very pretty. When we gat back, I looked at the map and discovered that we should have turned off up a road with no signpost and we would have found the bak road to Browns Plains.
We went in to Beaudesert for coffee and to buy the newspaper.
In the afternoon, the Woods came back from a visit to the Gold Coast so we had a chatty happy hour.
The weather had turned overcast and rainy when we woke up. It a good thing we can be snug and warm in the Motley.
The weather had cleared so we sat around and chatted.
