We went out early so that Jean could have a fasting blood test. We had breakfast at the coffee Club at Strathpine and it was particularly good.
We called in to Wyllie Park before setting off for Cooroy.
Helene's daughter and family were staying at the Procter's house and we were invited to a family dinner of delicious roast lamb.
I cooked some beef curry ready for a feast at the weekend.
Some other motorhoming friends arrived for a short visit so we had a very happy happy hour.
I spent the afternoon cooking KFP (Kurmas Fried Potatoes) and bhajias.
We had eight for dinner as Philip's daughter Lenore and her partner, Craig, came over from Noosa. Everyone enjoyed the curry and we sat around drinking, chatting, playing very bad music, and dancing until well into the night.
The Procters took us to Gympie Hospital to visit Darryl, a motorhoming friend, who is recovering from a stroke. He is making good progress and we hope that he will make a complete recovery in due course. Gerry, his wife, is learning to drive the motorhome, a huge converted coach with a big trailer, so that they can return to South Australia for Xmas.
We also went to Twin Creeks to check that it is still there and to show it off to Philip and Helene.
I was surprised to see that the dam had a few inches less water than last time we were there. Perhaps one of the neighbours is "borrowing" our water.
As we were late back, we went to the local fish'n'chip shop for our dinner, and very good it was.
We decided to cancel Jean's appointment in Aspley so that we could stay on a bit longer with the Procters.
