I had stayed up late last night watching a silly film and managed to sleep in until half past seven which made a nice change.
Keith came at eleven o'clock with the big front end loader and a tipper truck. He missed the morning tip opening so he came back after lunch and finished the job. There is a bit of a scar on the lawn but that will grow out with time. It does look much better out of the kitchen windows with the tanks gone.
I did a bit of tidying up before the flies drove me indoors. I might get some more done tomorrow.
I rang Eugenia St to wish Jean "Happy Birthday" but there was no-one there.
I did the laundry and got rid of the mess in the bathroom and tidied the rest of the house.
I spent a considerable time re-loading the Motley in preparation for a very early start tomorrow. I have to be at Rutherford by 1.30 to get the new shock absorbers fitted so I plan to be away by 7.30.
I had hoped to get all the work done early but a number of long telephone calls and some rain meant that I didn't finish until gone six.
I slept in the Motley to be ready for an early start.
