I was on the road before half past seven and reached Rutherford at about one o'clock. With a couple of short stops, one for morning tea and one to dump the black water at Aberdeen, I managed an average speed of 70 kph which isn't bad considering all the hills and towns.
The new shockers were fitted by three o'clock.
I decided to drive the few kilomnetres back to the rest artea at Pothana Lane which is the nearest quiet camping spot. The Motley seemed to ride better but that might just have been wishful thinking.
