I managed to get another job done in the laundry. It was a smaller job than the one in the bathroom but it still took all my energy.
I didn't have any lunch but took to my bed with a belly ache. I missed dinner as well but had a snack and a drink before going to bed.
Whatever ailed me yesterday was still with me a bit so I took the day off.
I had received a newsletter from the Chapter Secretary so I spent the morning updating the Chapter website. While I was on a roll, I spent the afternoon working on the Motley website, a task that took until bedtime.
Another deep frost overnight so we had to wait for the sun to get tank water in the kitchen.
I had a call from a CMCA member who had sent me a CD some time ago with some lists and maps of dump points. He wanted to know what we were doing with his work. I had to say that I hadn't had time to get to it. Now that the other work is finished, I was able to promise to review his work. I extracted all the data from his lists and incorporated it in my database so that I could see if he was contributing anything new. There were a few sites which hadn't been mentioned in any other source but without their provenance I don't think they can be add anything. The maps are interesting and might well be the basis of an addition to the lists on the club website. We would have to establish GPS co-ordinates for all the sites on the list which is no easy task before we could publish the maps.
I am still concerned that the CMCA list of dump points has sufficient errors and doubts that without a thorough check it will still be less than useful. I can't get anyone else to agree with me so perhaps I will just have to keep my own database up to date as best I can.
Another frost overnight.
Jean had an appointment with the Physiotherapist at the hospital to look into her shoulder pain. Her diagnosis was a suspected pinched nerve. She gave Jean some exercises to do for a week to release some locked joints or muscles so that she can start on a treatment.
Another very cold night.
I did a number or jobs including repairing the brakes on the trailer using the part I bought from a guy in a ute marked Australiawide Trailer Repairs I met by chance at the BP servo recently. The brake adjuster had fallen off the trailer somewhere before Forbes on our last trip and I was expecting to have to wait until I got to Brisbane to have it replaced.
It was still very cold overnight and the day was quite cloudy so we took to the sitting room with the gas fire keeping us cosy.
I had bought some diced beef when I was out shopping and I cooked a pot of beef curry and a pot of dhal.
