We departed Perth for the south. We drove through Rockingham and stopped at Safety Bay to go to the Post Office and have morning coffee. We called in to the Woolworths Plus servo in Mandurah to fill up the Motley with the discount we had earned by spending up big on groceries and we lunched in the Bunnings carpark opposite.
We stopped for afternoon tea at the Old Mill rest area on the road to Bunbury which is listed as an overnight camp site suitable for big rigs. Initially I thought we wouldn't find anywhere suitable for the Motley but eventually we came upon a nice long flat stretch of track off the main access road and settled in for the night.
