Demonstration Projects
We plan to pursue some demonstration projects to show people what we will have to do to solve some of the coming problems which will arise in Barraba from Peak Oil and Climate Change over the next couple of decades.
The first one will be the distribution of free low energy lamps so that people can experience this particular energy saving strategy.
These demonstration projects are not intended to show the optimum solutions of the problems. The process of developing the Energy Descent Pathway (EDP) will be in the hands of the membership of the Association when we have grown to sufficient size to do the work necessary to develop the EDP.
We plan to extend our program of demonstration projects as we get volunteers who have projects in mind to join the Association.
