We have been inactive in 2010 but we plan to reinvigorate the organisation in 2011.

We expect to organise public events to enable us to expain the intention of the Transition Initiative.

I have recently added a new book called Post Carbon Reader to the Towards Transition Barraba library which now contains 23 wonderful books. The Post Carbon Reader is a most inspiring book with lots of essays by experts about sustainability and resilience issues. It has fired up my enthusiasm for the Transition Initiative. The library books are available for loan to members of the organistion.

II have also added other new books, The End of Growth by Richard Heinberg, Population Crisis by Dick Smith, and The Transition Companion by Rob Hopkins. These books are great in support of the obiectives of the Transition Network,
